Senior Vice President, Public Affairs at Fleishman-Hillard

Bill Utter is a senior vice president at Fleishman-Hillard International Communications. He is group leader for public affairs in the Chicago office. Prior to joining Fleishman-Hillard, Utter was vice president of marketing at the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau. Prior to joining the CCTB, he served on Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley’s senior staff as director of communications. He has been in public relations and marketing for more than 15 years, following a 12-year career as a television and newspaper journalist. Utter is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He resides in Glenview, Ill., with his wife and four children. He joined BMA/Chicago in 2003 and has served as a director for four years.
