George Rafeedie is a principal owner and chief marketing officer of branding and marketing consultancy BlueSilver Inc. where he specializes in helping mid-size organizations with their marketing and branding needs through a network of veteran talent including a strategic partnership with an Bangalore, India-based creative design and programming studio. In addition to using the studio for specific client needs, BlueSilver represents it in discussions with large U.S. agencies and Fortune 500 companies looking to leverage global creative resources.  Prior to investing in and joining BlueSilver, Rafeedie launched the Chicago office of HSR Business to Business and grew it into one of the area’s most decorated b-to-b integrated marketing firms. In five years, Rafeedie developed the office from zero billings in 2003 to serving the needs of clients including USG Corporation, Motorola, United Stationers, Zebra Technologies, LaSalle Bank and SIRVA. His corporate background includes several corporate communications and business unit marketing positions with Baxter International Inc. Prior to Baxter, Rafeedie was a member of professional services firm Arthur Andersen’s global marketing team. He graduated with a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Public Relations from Ohio University. He was named BMA’s 2006 member of the year. In addition, Rafeedie is past co-president and board member of the Northwestern University Medill Alumni Club of Chicago, where he created a mentor program for IMC graduate students. He joined BMA in 2004.
