ABOUT RAY VILLARES
Characterized as having a child-like enthusiasm for interactive design and innovation, Ray has always been a catalyst for change and growth. Prior to joining Symmetri, Ray led the charge in new offering development at Acquity Group where he successfully incubated the firm’s Interactive and Mobile Marketing practices.   During this time Ray fostered successful client relationships with dozens of clients including AT&T, Ben & Jerry’s, Gordon Food Service, McDonald’s, Motorola, Northern Trust, Proctor & Gamble, Underwriters Laboratories, Sears, True Value and Yamaha.

Shortly after attending Florida State University—where he initially studied chemistry before majoring in Mathematics/Computer science—Ray co-founded a successful Web development start-up. Over a nine-year period, he took the firm from a one-room office to one of the most reputable Interactive firms in the Southwest Florida region. He provided delivery oversight for more than 300 Web projects and led innovation efforts across all service lines from website design and marketing to custom application development. Clients included Disney, Honeywell, Rooms To Go, SeaWorld and SunTrust.
In Ray’s spare time he feeds his creative side through his love of photography. He also enjoys being an active contributor in the community and is a true believer that good business and community service go hand-in-hand. Currently he is helping establish the Chicago-based organization centered around Mobile development and marketing.
